1. Shipping Schedule:
- Ship Days: We ship live plants every Monday to avoid weekend delays and ensure they do not sit in mailboxes for extended periods.
- Carrier and Timing: Plants are shipped via UPS for larger boxes and USPS for smaller packages, with delivery typically expected within 3-5 business days, especially for long-distance destinations such as the western United States.
2. Packaging and Care:
- Protective Packaging: Plants are carefully packaged with extra precautions to shield them from potential damage during shipping. Despite our efforts, mishandling during transit can lead to some issues.
- Stress and Recovery: It's normal for plants to experience some stress during transit, such as leaf drop or discoloration, due to being enclosed in dark boxes. Rest assured, most plants recover quickly with proper care, such as watering and exposure to dappled sunlight after unboxing.
3. Handling Damage:
- Significant Damage: If you notice substantial damage to the box, contact UPS within 30 days to initiate a claim.
- Minor Damage: For minor issues, like a broken stem, allow the plant time to recover in a nurturing environment.
4. Customer Responsibilities:
- Timely Unboxing: Upon delivery, promptly unbox your plant to minimize stress and begin acclimating it to its new environment.
- Monitoring Health: Keep an eye on your plant's health and provide the necessary care to facilitate recovery from any shipping-related stress.
